Orange Agate and Zircon Beaded Necklace

This necklace is made with faceted orange variegated color-treated Agate, Faceted Orange Zircon CZ Grade AA, Mother of Pearl beads, and a 14x20mm Oval Pendent made with Inlaid Mother of Pearl, Abalone and Spiny Oyster. Gold plated findings are used. Images show the necklace in direct sunlight and indirect sunlight as well.

*Mother of pearl, also known as Nacre, is an organic and inorganic material produced by select mollusks as an inner shell layer, it also makes up the colorful, iridescent outer coating of pearls.

Metaphysical Properties: Mother of pearl is said to be a protection stone, by bringing the gentle healing power of the sea. It is believed to be a stress relieving stone as well as relaxing, soothing, and calming. Mother of Pearl encourages imagination, sensitivity, and adaptability.

*Zircon, not to be confused with cubic zirconia, is a mineral that belongs to the group of nesosilicates. It is a zirconium silicate which appears a a dark brown, green or red color after extraction and changes color when heated at high temperatures.

Metaphysical Properties: Zircon is a popular stone used to aid in meditation and is said to clear negative energy. Zircon is believed to attract wisdom, success, and wealth.

*Agate is a variety of banded micro-crystalline quartz, or chalcedony. There are a vast amount of varieties of agate. Usually, each variety is named after their physical characteristics or location of origin. Agate is formed when ground waters that are high in silica content, fill a cavity in a host rock or dissolve pre-existing material such as bone or shell.
